Ehsan Moradpur-Tari (born in 1985) has a PhD in the field of Electroceramics (2022, Tarbiat Modares University) and a Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering (2010, University of Tehran). His theoretical research activities are in Density Functional Theory, Molecular Dynamics and Machine Learning. In the Matter project Ehsan is a postdoctoral researcher responsible for atomistic simulations. This involves DFT, semi-classical and classical MD, and Machine Learning. An example project is investigation of vacuum arcing in the particle accelerators at CERN. He has also experimental research experience in the field of supercapacitors and electrochemistry. By the end of 2022, Ehsan has 5 publications.
