On the 8th of September, Matter lab and Institute of Technology got a nice visit from Finland: host professor Mika Pettersson! Follow this post to learn more from his visit!
Prof. Pettersson has a distinguished international academic career and a strong background in multidisciplinary nanoscience and physical chemistry with the focus on (nonlinear) spectroscopy and 2D materials. He is currently a Head of the Laser Laboratory at the JYU Nanoscience Center, and he has also served as a Head of the Department of Chemistry at JYU. Among other merits, he is also a member of the esteemed learned society of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters.
